A 200ml broad-spectrum SPF30 sunscreen from Altruist, formulated by a consultant dermatologist with a range of photostable UV filters and a lightweight, moisturiser-like texture for comfortable daily use on face and body.

Altruist Dermatologist Sunscreen SPF30 was created by consultant dermatologist and skin cancer surgeon Dr Andrew Birnie with a clear purpose: to provide optimum, clinically credible sun protection that is accessible and affordable for everyone, combining a broad range of photostable UV filters including Tinosorb A2B, one of the most advanced broad-spectrum filters currently available, to deliver high-quality UVA and UVB protection that meets and exceeds EU standards, with a 5-star ultra-UVA rating and a PPD value of 39.

 Despite its high-performance filter system, the formula has a fast-absorbing, non-sticky and non-greasy texture that feels much like a moisturiser on application, with glycerin and panthenol included to provide hydration and skin-soothing support alongside the UV protection. Hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, paraben-free and water-resistant, it is suitable for sensitive skin, for daily use on both the face and body, and for children aged 2 years and above, making it a practical and dermatologist-approved choice for the whole family.

Warnings and cautions

• For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.

• Prolonged exposure to the sun may be harmful even with sunscreen use. Cover up with clothing and a hat, seek shade and avoid the midday sun. Always check the label before use as product and ingredients may change.

How to use

1. Shake well before use. Apply generously and evenly to all exposed skin approximately 15 to 20 minutes before sun exposure.
2. Reapply frequently, especially after swimming, towel drying or perspiring heavily. Do not rub in vigorously as this may reduce protection.
