Bonjela Cool Mint Gel offers targeted and fast-acting relief from the common discomfort of mouth ulcers, cold sores, and sore spots caused by braces or dentures. What are the benefits? The dual-action formula works by combining two key active ingredients: **Choline Salicylate**, which is a painkiller and anti-inflammatory to quickly soothe sore areas and reduce swelling; and **Cetalkonium Chloride**, which acts as an antiseptic to kill bacteria and help prevent infection in the open sore. Applied directly to the affected area, the clear gel provides immediate, localised relief and a pleasant cool mint flavour. It is an effective, sugar-free solution to help aid the healing process and restore comfort to the mouth. This product is specifically formulated for adults and adolescents over 16 years of age.

Warnings and cautions

• **DO NOT GIVE TO CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE.** This is due to a possible association between salicylates and Reye's syndrome.
• Do not use if you are allergic to salicylates (such as Aspirin) or any other ingredients.
• Consult your doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7 days, or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking blood-thinning medicines (anticoagulants).
• Do not use more medicine than the label tells you to.

How to use

1. Massage approximately 1cm (half an inch) of gel onto the sore area.
2. Repeat application after 3 hours if needed, up to 6 times in 24 hours.
3. For denture sores, apply to the gum and wait at least 30 minutes before reinserting the denture (do not apply directly to the denture).

Active ingredients: Choline Salicylate 8.714% w/w, Cetalkonium Chloride 0.010% w/w. Also contains: Ethanol (Alcohol), Glycerol, Menthol, Hypromellose 4500, Mint Flavour, Sodium Saccharin, and Purified Water. Contains 46.83mg of ethanol per dose.
