Warnings and cautions

• If you have intestinal obstruction, diabetes, kidney or liver failure, or are on a low potassium or sodium diet, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.
• Infants under 2 years old with diarrhoea should be seen by a physician promptly.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.

How to use

1. Dissolve one sachet in approximately 200ml (7 fl oz) of drinking water.
2. Use fresh drinking water for adults and children. For infants or where water quality is uncertain, use freshly boiled then cooled water.
3. Prepare solution immediately before use; store refrigerated solution up to 24 hours.
4. Discard any solution remaining one hour after preparation.
5. Dose: Adults and elderly - one or two sachets after each loose motion, each dissolved in 200ml water.
6. Children - one sachet after each loose motion.
7. Infants up to 2 years - one to one and a half times the normal 24-hour feed volume, prepared as directed.
8. If illness persists beyond 24-48 hours or vomiting occurs with diarrhoea, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

Each sachet contains Sodium Chloride 0.47g, Potassium Chloride 0.30g, Glucose 3.56g, Disodium Hydrogen Citrate 0.53g, plus Silicon Dioxide, Saccharin Sodium, and Blackcurrant Flavour.
