Mepilex Lite Dressing 10x10cm is a thin foam dressing that provides gentle, effective care for a wide range of exuding wounds.

Mepilex Lite is designed to absorb exudate while maintaining a moist wound environment, which is essential for optimal healing. Its soft, conformable structure ensures a close fit to the wound bed, even in difficult-to-dress areas, and it can be easily cut to size without compromising performance. The dressing features Safetac® technology – a soft silicone layer that gently adheres to surrounding skin without sticking to the wound, helping to reduce pain and trauma during dressing changes.

This dressing is particularly well suited for managing pressure ulcers, leg and foot ulcers, and skin tears. It stays in place to support hands-free application of compression or retention bandages, and can remain on the wound for several days depending on exudate levels. Mepilex Lite can also be used during radiotherapy, adding to its versatility and patient comfort.

How to use

1. Cleanse the wound in accordance with normal procedures.
2. Dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.
3. Remove the release films and apply the adherent side to the wound. Do not stretch.
4. Ensure Mepilex Lite overlaps dry surrounding skin by at least 2cm. If required, cut to size.
5. Secure the dressing in place with a bandage or appropriate fixation if necessary.
